Luke 8:14- "But as they go on their way, they are choked by the cares and riches and PLEASURES OF LIFE, and their fruit does not mature."
It's the same story that we looked at on Saturday, just highlighting a different phrase. Jesus says even the good, pure, clean pleasures of life can cause us to stop growing closer to God and put our spiritual growth on standby.
Are there pleasures of life that you need to check? Are these seemingly harmless, innocent aspects of your daily routine actually hurting your ability to increase intimacy with God?
